The Community University of the Valleys East recognises the importance of learning as a social and collective experience and it is committed to promoting a learning environment where students are encouraged to value and support one another. It seeks to offer a style of learning that is supportive and collaborative.
CUV-East offers a caring, non-judgemental service to all learners, where personal matters are treated in strict confidence. One to one confidential educational and careers session are available to all students.
The Development Team are the students’ first point of contact for advice/guidance. They have access to a range of professional services that are resources to help students make the most of their time with CUV-East and to prepare for life afterwards.
Student Union Newport - Newport SU - Your own University branch of the Students Union. First contact for any issues you may have, that require your Student Union.
National Union of Students, Wales - is a semi-autonomous division of NUS created to address issues which are relevant to students in Wales. NUS Wales is made up of 38 Student Unions in Wales, encompassing around 160,000 students.
